Door County smallmouth bass fishing has been going good lately until this inland hurricane moved across the great lakes bringing with it wind gusts reaching at times near 60mph for a couple of days. The weather has now moved out and we are now able to get back out on the water chasing after trophy smallmouth bass. We have been finding success lately fishing in water depths ranging anywhere from 15 to 30 feet of water depending on the day and weather conditions. Water temps are dropping each day and the smallmouth bass are really going to be feeding up before the long cold winter ahead so now until it is just too cold to be on the water is a great time to catch that true trophy.
