Door County Smallmouth Bass Fishing

With us now moving into the month of October and the temperature beginning to cool down so is the water temperatures and that means one thing the fall fishing patterns are now beginning to come together. We have been targeting the bass in water depths ranging from 20 to 30 feet of water but have also been finding active fish in shallower depths at times depending on the weather and winds for that day. In some locations, we are finding that the bass are spread out over large areas with a few fish here and a few fish there but in other locations, we are finding larger concentrations of fish in smaller areas. As we move further into the fall season and water temps begin to cool even more the fishing should get better with great opportunities at a true trophy smallmouth Bass.
