David Walschinkski – I first fished with Paul in February and had a great experience. Based on that experience I booked a trip in April for Walleye. Paul is one of the most professional fishing guides I have fished with. I brought along a couple of my customers and they could not have been happier with the whole trip. Paul took us on a walleye trip here September 27th and the conditions were not optimal. Surface water temp was 80 degrees in September??? Clear sunny skies and dead flat calm water made the fish stick tight to the bottom and bite extremely light.
Paul did all he could to find fish and he did keep us on fish most of the day. He really takes time to make sure his clients are working the baits correctly to increase their chances of hooking up with fish. He answers all your questions on fishing and takes time to explain what is going on in the system.
On top of it all, on this day — He did all he could to keep the attitude up in the boat and made a day where the fish catching was not fast and furious still a great day. I hope to book with Paul again in the future and will recommend him to anyone I know looking to fish the Bay. Next time though I will make sure the possibility of a 90 degree day is not in the cards!!!
Paul took our family out for a day of Whitefishing. We had a great time! Paul made sure the kids (5 and 7) had a fun ride out and checked in to make sure we were doing well throughout the day. The shack was warm, clean and placed on the fish! We all caught our fill and just had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend Paul and his team for any families looking to experience ice fishing.
