We are now moving into the end of May with much warmer weather being present the past couple of weeks which has really helped warm the water temps in all areas here in Door County. Depending on your location on the bay the Bass are in some areas building beds and in the midst of spawning with other locations most fish are still in the pre spawn period.
We have been finding success catching Door County Smallmouth Bass fishing in shallow water using presentations such as tube jigs along with Rapala jerk baits and soft plastic Pulse R Paddle tails from B-Fish N tackle on VMC 1/4 oz Mooneye jigs taking most of our fish daily.. Now is the time to take advantage of some great shallow water Bass fishing here in Door County so take some time to get out on the water to catch some fish.

Door County Walleye Fishing has been good over the past couple of weeks with good numbers of walleyes being caught on a daily basis.All of the walleyes in Door County and the Sturgeon Bay area have finished there spawning and are feeding up to regain lost energy and are showing up in post spawn areas more and more each day. We have been finding our best success casting for fish in slightly deeper water also finding active walleyes in and around the Sturgeon Bay area shallow on days that have more wind. There will still be plenty of time to take advantage of this great Door County Walleye Fishing before they begin to move into there summer areas

Fishing Door County walleyes has been going good for the past couple of weeks with most of the walleyes now being post spawn. We have been finding good success catching Door County walleyes with casting techniques using soft plastics along with lipless crankbaits. Post Spawn fishing door county walleyes will continue to be good for quite some time before walleyes begin to move into there summer patterns.
