Bass fishing in Sturgeon Bay and Door County continues to be good with a lot of fish now being post spawn. We have been finding better success fishing Door County for bass in water depths from 9 to 15 feet of water. We have been finding our best success using soft plastics such as tube jigs along with getting fish to chase spinner baits in the afternoon with warmer water temps. Fishing Sturgeon Bay and Door County for Bass will soon begin to show fish moving into there summer patterns.
With the Green Bay walleye fishing getting a little tougher the past few trips we are still seeing some quality Green Bay walleyes coming from a number of different locations around Green Bay. Green Bay walleyes can still be caught casting in shallower water along with trolling in deeper water. We have been finding success trolling Storm Smash Shads along with Rapala Husky Jerks and shallower fish have been being caught casting soft plastics along with casting Storm Smash Shads.
Bass fishing in Sister Bay in Door County continues to be good with nice size bass coming daily in water depths from 8 to 12 Feet of water. We have been finding our success using soft plastics along with spinnerbaits for the bass fishing in Sister Bay.
The Sturgeon Bay smallmouth bass fishing in Door County continues to produce some real quality fish. The water temps here on the bay of Green Bay in Door County have dropped over the past week or so and the fish have moved to slightly deeper water. We have found our best success fishing Sturgeon Bay smallmouth bass with tube jigs worked really slow.
