Door County Smallmouth Bass fishing has been going good over the past few days finding some fish still on beds but most fish done with the spawn and beginning to feed up after there lengthy task of doing the annual spring bed making and completing the spawn.
We have been finding good success catching Door County Smallmouth Bass using soft plastic presentations along with casting spinner baits on days that have wind blowing into the areas that we are fishing. Most of our fish over the past couple of days have come from water depths ranging from 9 to 15 feet of water. Fishing Door County Smallmouth Bass Will continue to provide great opportunities at catching fish well into the fall season..

Fishing Door County Northern Pike
Door County walleye fishing over the past couple of weeks has had its ups and downs with fishing being pretty good one day then pretty tough the next day. Water temperatures began to warm up through out the bay for a while which really helped the walleye activity in many areas only to get hit with a cold front which brought north winds a dropped water temps in some areas as much as almost 10 degrees. Alewives have also begun to move into the bay in abundance which in some areas have made it a bit tough to catch walleyes that have there bellies filled with more than enough to eat all around them. Still facing these challenges daily we are still able to catch walleyes just having to work harder for less some days. Here is a bonus trophy Northern Pike caught the other day.
