Green Bay Walleye Fishing March 30th

Today brought us warmer temperatures to start the day along with winds out of the south which kept the water temps from dropping over night. We began fishing today in water depths from 5 to 7 feet of water finding fish a bit active for an hour or so before moving to slightly deeper water to stay on the active fish. We were catching our fish casting Rapala baits working them very slowly due to the fish biting light. The fish we caught were scattered and we would catch one or two fish in an area before having to move and find an area with more fish. As the afternoon wore on we began to lose our wind and the bite completely died for us but not before catching a good mess of some quality pre-spawn walleyes.
