Last week we enjoyed some super great action fishing for Walleyes here in Door County. We were fishing for these fish using jigging presentations in water depths from 30 to 35 feet of water with some fish even coming a little deeper. The key for us with catching these fish was to locate schools of bait fish and then fishing those areas thoroughly some times we would only catch a fish or two in an area and other areas we would catch 5 or 6 fish in an area. Walleyes will continue to feed up heavily through the fall to fatten up for the long cold winter ahead this is a really great time to catch that trophy walleye so dress warm and get out and try your luck one last time for the season and you just might catch that fish of a life time. Good luck fishing.
