Fishing Door County Smallmouth Bass October 26th

We are now well into the Fall fishing season here in the Door County area and the Smallmouth Bass fishing has been good with lots of quality size bass being caught on a daily basis. This month has been a very windy month with most days having strong winds from one direction to the next making things very interesting and challenging to get to some of the fishing areas and some days just not being able to get out. We have been finding good success fishing water depths from 20 to 35 feet of water using a couple different presentations including live bait rigs fished with succer minnows along with casting lipless crank baits such as the Rapala Rippin Raps. The water temps have been a bit warm for this time of season so we should continue to see great fishing for several more weeks so try to take some time to get that fishing trip in for the fall season.
