Well with much warmer temperatures and as we move into the summer months the Walleyes are moving into their summer patterns. We have been finding good numbers of walleyes using mid basin areas of the bay relating to schools of bait fish where they should remain for quite sometime. The key to staying on these fish is to find where they are relating to and staying with the schools of fish as they roam. If we find fish around schools of bait fish we try to remain in the areas close to the bait and we will generally stay on the bite. We have been catching our fish trolling crawler harnesses behind planer boards and adjusting our depths using snap weights. Some days the fish are high in the water column other days they are much deeper varying our depth has been important until we find where the fish are in the water column.
