Fishing here in Little Bay De Noc has been very good this past week. Typically this time of year we spend a lot of time trolling crankbaits behind planer boards at night but this past week we have been fishing during the day time casting for Walleyes targeting water depths from 25 to 35 FOW. We have been catching lots of fish from 20 to 25 inches long but also have had a good number of fish from 28 to 31 inches long with the largest fish being 11.5 lbs. The past couple of days have brought big winds along with bitter cold temps with ice forming on the shorelines and boat ramps. Fishing should only get better for us as long as the weather cooperates and lets us get out.
